This Cookie Policy explains how VastuSetu PropTech Pvt Ltd ("VastuSetu", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on vastusetu.in and associated mobile applications (collectively, the "Platform"), and the choices available to you regarding their use.
This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes in detail how we collect, use, and protect personal data more broadly. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given to them in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website, allowing the site to recognise your device on subsequent visits. Similar technologies include local storage, pixel tags, SDKs (in our mobile applications), and web beacons, which we refer to collectively as "cookies" in this Policy for simplicity.
2.1 First-Party vs. Third-Party Cookies
First-party cookies are set directly by VastuSetu. Third-party cookies are set by our service providers and partners (such as analytics or mapping providers) to support functionality embedded within the Platform.
2.2 Session vs. Persistent Cookies
Session cookies are temporary and are deleted once you close your browser or app. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period, or until you delete them, and help us recognise you as a returning User.

We do not use Marketing & Retargeting cookies unless you have given consent through our cookie banner or in-app settings. Strictly Necessary cookies do not require consent as they are essential to operating the Platform securely.
Certain cookies and device identifiers support the Platform's core analytics and verification features, including session data used to detect fraudulent Listing activity and usage signals that help refine the Builder Trust Score™, Property Risk Score™, and Investment Analytics tools. These operate as Strictly Necessary or Performance & Analytics cookies as categorised above and are not used to build third-party advertising profiles.
These third parties may set their own cookies subject to their respective privacy and cookie policies, over which VastuSetu does not have direct control.
6.1 Cookie Consent Banner
On your first visit, the Platform displays a cookie consent banner allowing you to accept or customise cookie categories other than Strictly Necessary cookies. You may revisit and change your preferences at any time through the "Cookie Settings" link in the website footer or the equivalent setting in our mobile applications.
6.2 Browser and Device Controls
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings menu, and mobile operating systems allow you to limit ad tracking or reset advertising identifiers. Please note that disabling Strictly Necessary or Functional cookies may affect your ability to log in, complete transactions, or use certain Platform features.
6.3 Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. As there is no common industry standard for responding to such signals, the Platform does not currently respond differently to browsers with Do Not Track enabled.
Where required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law, we rely on your consent for non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
